Vectorial visualization: Text top-quality display
An exciting new feature has now been added to both the web (HTML5) and mobile versions of Tecnavia’s Newsmemory e-Edition solution: the vectorial text and fonts visualization.
Unlike pixel graphics, vector graphics aren’t composed of individual picture elements; rather they are made up of geometric primitives, like lines, circles, or curves. These are defined through parameters such as beginning points, ending points, radii, edge length, line width, colors, and filling patterns. The biggest advantage is that vector graphics saved parameters can be recalculated to fit new sizes. These images can be scaled up without any loss in quality.
Text Top-Quality Display grants perfect readability with high-quality, crisp fonts on every device, especially high-resolution screens, like 4K monitors, as well as small screen mobile devices, when zooming in can be useful for a comfortable reading experience. This feature can be implemented without any negative impact on download time and memory requirements, making the online presentation and performance of your newspaper even better and more enjoyable for your readers.
